The 2005 He-Man campout will be held at camp site 6 at Camp Crooked Creek on
the Lincoln Heritage Council, Boy Scout of America Reservation at Camp Crooked
Creek. It's next door to Bernheim Forest.

From Highview Baptist Church, drive to I-265
westbound. Continue west to I-65. Go south on I-65 past
Shepherdsville, then past the rest area. Continue on to exit 112 (KY
highway 245.) It's the first exit after the rest center.

At exit 112 (KY-245) turn left (east). Continue
approximately 0.75 miles to Plenmar Drive on the right. Turn onto
Plenmar, continue to Terry Drive and turn left (Stay on the paved
road. Plenmar becomes gravel at this intersection.) Terry Dr.
will take you to the BSA reservation. When entering the reservation
at the top of a long hill, stay on the paved road.
You do not need to check in with the ranger.
When entering the reservation please obey the 20MPH
speed limit. Boy Scouts may be hiking along the road. Also
watch out for deer. |
| After entering the reservation follow the paved road about 2
miles to Camp Crooked Creek. At the bottom of a long hill there is a
4way intersection with gravel roads on each side. Turn left onto the
gravel road. Turn right at the next two forks. |
